Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

A globally recognised manufacturer at the forefront of technically advanced Special Purpose Machinery are searching for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer. This company are international leaders in innovate technology and systems in the Industrial Machinery sector.
 
Reporting directly to the Head of Research & Development, you’ll join an industry leading team, focusing on the R&D and New Product Development of bespoke industrial machines. This is a full life-cycle role, overseeing design projects from initial concept, including detailed engineering & hand calculations, DFMEA studies, FEA analysis, 3D modelling and overseeing your product through the companies state-of-the art manufacturing facility.
 
This is an excellent opportunity for a proven Senior Engineer to take their career to the next level and be instrumental in the design of industry leading machines.
 
Senior Mechanical Design Engineer Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Experience in Special Purpose Machinery / Rotating Equipment / Gearboxes etc.
• Complex Components & Precision Equipment - GD&T (BS8888)
• FEA Analysis
• Experience with Fabrications, Weldments, Castings
• Material Selection, Machining Methods and Techniques
