Engineering Buyer

Our client is a well-established and highly respected organisation within the Automotive Manufacturing sector. Due to growth, they are seeking an experienced Engineering Buyer to join their procurement team.
 
The successful Engineering Buyer candidate will play a key role in managing supplier relationships across direct and indirect commodities, supporting category strategies, and driving measurable performance improvements across the supply base.
This is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced Buyer with Engineering/Automotive experience to work for a highly prestigious global organisation with sites across the globe. In addition, the company offer stability, progression and an excellent remuneration package.

Engineering Buyer Requirements:

• Proven track record as a Buyer in the Automotive sector
• Exposure to international supply bases – ideally Far East / China
• MCIPS qualified (or in progress)
• Experience with press tooling and assembly proses (highly desirable)
