Electrical Design Engineer

This growing engineering business specialising in safety critical control systems is looking to appoint an Electrical Design Engineer to join its Warrington-based team.

This role will suit an engineer with experience in electrical/control systems design who enjoys working across the full project lifecycle – from concept and schematics through to site support and commissioning. You’ll be involved in designing control systems for safety critical applications such as the rail sector where attention to detail and adherence to standards is paramount!
 
For the right candidate there are also progression opportunities into full PLC programming primarily on Siemens PLC platfroms. In return the company are offering a competitive salary, hybrid working and a car allowance.

Electrical Design Engineer requirements:

• HNC/D or Degree level in Electrical Engineering
• Electrical control panel design experience
• Strong CAD skills
• Full driving license
