Chroma Recruitment are supporting a technology‑driven organisation undertaking a major uplift of its internal web‑based systems and client portal. We’re seeking an experienced Full Stack .NET contractor with strong ASP.NET / WebForms experience to join a small, delivery‑focused team and ship improvements at pace.

What you’ll do

• Maintain, enhance and refactor an existing ASP.NET WebForms application.
• Develop and extend RESTful APIs used across internal systems.
• Diagnose SQL issues (queries/stored procedures) and improve performance.
• Tackle defects, legacy issues and UI inconsistencies.
• Prepare older components for phased migration to a more modern .NET environment.
• Work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑moving setup.

What you’ll bring

• Strong ASP.NET WebForms, C#, .NET Framework/MVC, SQL Server.
• Confidence working across front‑ and back‑end components.
• Ability to navigate large, older codebases quickly and deliver at pace.
• Clear communication with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• (Nice to have:) Exposure to .NET Core/modernisation and common API integration patterns.
• (Bonus: Authentication work is in scope-can be taught if needed.)

Logistics

• Hybrid Warrington: 2 days on-site (Thu/Fri).
• Outside IR35. Umbrella (Chroma PSL) or own Ltd (Qdos assessment c. £89 VAT).
• Payment: Month end, 14 days.
