Embedded Software Engineer

An innovative company in the Northwest is excited to announce a new opportunity to join their growing R&D team in south Manchester. Chroma are searching for an Embedded Software Engineer to help support the increasing demand for bespoke solutions.

The ideal candidate will be firmware biased but can do some hardware work too.

Embedded Software Engineer Requirements:

• Degree qualified or equivalent in Electronics, Embedded Software, Systems Engineering
• Previous embedded experience
• C/C++ programming
• Electronics knowledge
• 80/20 split on firmware and hardware

This role will report to the CTO who will support this role and help develop the person further. It’s a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working on electronics in their free time.

As an Embedded Software Engineer, you’ll be responsible for the design, development, debugging and testing of their solutions. You’ll be working closely with customers to ensure all requirements are met in line with the relevant compliance standards.
