Embedded Software Engineer - Defence

A fast-growing business in the Coventry area is looking to increase its R&D capability for new and future projects. This company is looking to add an Embedded Software Engineer offering the chance to work on Defence projects.

This role requires you to be a British National with previous Defence experience.

Embedded Software Engineer Requirements:

• Degree qualified in Computer Science, Software or Electronics Engineering
• Embedded C/C programming
• Linux Kernel Development
• Embedded Linux or RTOS
• Microprocessors
• SC Clearance
• Defence experience
• Onsite in Coventry

The role of Embedded Software Engineer reports to the Software Lead on a day-to-day basis working as part of a multi-disciplined team. The team consists of hardware, mechanical, software, test and validation engineers.

This role is classed as a full lifecycle, where you’ll be involved from specification, design, test, validation and delivery for manufacture. You’ll be working with external and internal partners to deliver highly complex solutions.
