Project Manager – ERP Migration (Infor M3) Location: North West (Engineering Sector)
Contract Length: 12 months
Start Date: May / early June
Working Pattern: 4–4.5 days per week (4 days preferred; Friday is a half?day)
Rate: Day/hourly rate – negotiable

Project Manager for a major ERP migration programme. This 12 month contract will oversee the transition from SAP to Infor M3, with a fixed completion deadline of
31st March.
This is a
user focused change project, not an IT led transformation. The successful candidate will work closely with operational teams across finance, procurement, production, and engineering to ensure the new system is adopted effectively and embedded into day to day operations.
The client is looking for someone who is driven, personable, and able to apply strong logic and common sense to keep the project moving at pace.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the end to end SAP > Infor M3 migration, ensuring readiness for a June rollout.
- Engage stakeholders across finance, procurement, production, and engineering.
- Manage the transfer, validation, and operational readiness of 20,000 data items.
- Maintain project plans, timelines, risk logs, and reporting.
- Coordinate user workshops, training, and change management activities.
- Work with internal teams and external partners to resolve issues quickly.
- Ensure governance, documentation, and project controls are upheld throughout.
Required Experience & Skills- Proven experience delivering ERP or major system migration projects.
- Background in engineering, manufacturing, or industrial environments.
- Strong stakeholder management across operational and back office teams.
- Ability to lead user driven change rather than purely technical implementations.
- Comfortable working with large data sets and complex processes.
- Personable, proactive, and able to drive progress independently.
- Logical thinker with strong problem solving skills.
