We’re recruiting for an
EC&I Technician to join a specialist engineering business supporting the delivery, installation, and qualification of control systems for advanced process equipment.
This is a hands-on, site-focused role ideal for someone with a strong electrical or controls background who enjoys working across commissioning, testing, and customer-facing project delivery. You’ll be involved from control handover through to Installation Qualification (IQ), Operational Qualification (OQ), and operator training, ensuring systems are delivered and handed over to the highest standard.
You’ll be responsible for building and supporting control systems, assisting with FAT activities, carrying out on-site installation and qualification, and delivering training to end users. The role is primarily based in Speke, Liverpool, with regular global travel for commissioning and support activities.
EC&I Technician – Essential Skills & Experience:- Time-served apprenticeship or equivalent in Electrical Engineering
- HNC or equivalent qualification (preferred)
- Experience in a similar EC&I / commissioning / installation role
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings
- Good knowledge of electrical regulations
EC&I Technician – Benefits:- £35K – £40K salary
