Senior AIT Technician

A leading Space & Satellites business across multiple sites who are looking for a Senior AIT Technician to support the assembly, integration and test of mission critical systems & components.
 
This role of Senior AIT Technician focuses across assembly, integration and test activities, with the client expecting someone to support both R&D and customer projects. The ideal candidate should be confident in reading engineering drawings & ensuring their work is completed to the highest quality standards.
 
The company work in a variety of sectors including the space industry. The projects are therefore both varied and complex in nature so perfect for an experienced AIT Technician who enjoys a challenge!
 
Senior AIT Technician requirements:
• ONC / HNC in Electronic Engineering (or similar)
• Hands-on assembly, integration & test experience
• Soldering to IPC standards & cable harnessing
• Test & documentation experience
• Comfortable reading engineering drawings & schematics
• Space / Aerospace / Defence experience (highly beneficial)
