EC&I Technician

A top tier COMAH Chemical Manufacturing site in Eccles are looking for an experienced E&I Technician to join their growing team!

The successful E&I Technician will have strong experience maintaining and troubleshooting electrical, control, and instrumentation systems within a high-hazard or process environment. You’ll be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance, supporting site operations, and ensuring all equipment is running safely and efficiently in line with strict compliance standards.

This role sits within a close-knit engineering team and offers the opportunity to work across a varied and technically challenging plant environment, with involvement in maintenance, fault finding, and continuous improvement activities.

E&I Technician Requirements:

• Time-served Electrical / Instrumentation Maintenance Engineer
• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation or related discipline
• 18th Edition (BS7671)
• Experience working in COMAH, chemical, petrochemical or heavy industrial environments
• Knowledge of ATEX / hazardous area equipment (desirable)
