An innovative medical technology company based in
Long Eaton is looking for a
Visualisation Software Engineer to join its growing R&D team. The business designs and develops advanced surgical visualisation platforms, combining cutting‑edge imaging, real‑time rendering, and bespoke hardware.
The successful candidate will take a lead role in developing
high‑performance visualisation software for real‑time 4D video content, working closely with hardware, firmware, and user experience teams in a fast‑moving R&D environment.
This role is
predominantly on site, with
one day per week working from home available. Flexible working hours are offered, provided core hours are met.
Visualisation Software Engineer requirements:
- Degree qualified (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline
- Strong experience with C for performance‑critical software development
- Experience using Python for prototyping, tooling, or data processing
- Experience developing or optimising rendering or visualisation pipelines
- Exposure to real‑time or high‑bandwidth data processing
- Experience working with graphics or visualisation frameworks (e.g. Unity)
- Understanding of 3D transformations, spatial mapping, or calibration techniques is desirable
- Experience working in an agile, evolving R&D environment
