An established and growing children’s care provider is seeking an experienced Operations Director to lead and develop a portfolio of residential services across the North West.
This is a business entering a growth phase, making it an excellent opportunity for an Operations Director who wants genuine influence, visibility, and future progression into executive leadership.
You’ll work closely with senior leadership to drive operational performance, strengthen service quality, support Registered Managers, and ensure homes consistently achieve strong Ofsted outcomes while maintaining a child-centred culture.
The organisation is looking for someone who can balance strategic oversight with hands-on leadership, someone credible with managers, commercially aware, and confident leading through growth and change.

Operations Director Requirements- Strong multi-site experience within children’s residential care
- Proven leadership across several homes/services
- Strong understanding of Ofsted and safeguarding frameworks
- Track record of achieving and maintaining Good or Outstanding outcomes
- Experience developing and supporting Registered Managers
- Commercial awareness alongside operational capability
- A collaborative and emotionally intelligent leadership style
