Mechanical Design Engineer

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join an awarding winning global engineering & manufacturing business in South Birmingham.
 
As Mechanical Design Engineer, you’ll be tasked with NPD, R&D and re-designing their complex product range. The company are market leaders in what they do often delivering worldclass industry benchmarks in their products.

You'll be the sole Mechanical Design Engineer so previous experience and the abiloity to work independently is crucial.
 
Mechanical Design Engineer requirements:
 

• HNC/D or Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or similar)
• 3D CAD – Solidworks preferred
• High precision design experience
• Electro-mechanical
• Injection moulding, eclosures, plastics etc desirable
• Design for harsh environments – vibration, water ingress etc.
