Design Applications Engineer

A well-established Manufacturing business specialising in bespoke Metal Fabrications & Steelwork are looking for a Design Applications Engineer. This company boast over 150 years’ in operation and are industry leaders in their field.  

As a Design Applications Engineer, you’ll report directly to the Commercial Director and be the focal point & key liaison between Engineering & Commercial functions. This is a customer-facing role, where you’ll oversee kick-off meetings, conceptual design, sales support and occasional site visits.

This is a great opportunity for a multi-skilled Engineering professional looking to expand on the commercial experience at a rapidly growing business, where you’ll work with major blue chip companies.
 
Design Applications Engineer Requirements –

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or similar)
• Experience in – Design, Sales, Tendering, Estimation, Projects etc.
• 3D CAD (Solidworks / Inventor)
• Experience with Metal Fabrications & Steelwork (desirable)
• Previous Experience in a Manufacturing Environment
