Senior/Lead Data Scientist Contract Opportunity | Manchester | Outside IR35

We're working with a major UK digital business going through a huge Data & AI transformation and we’re looking to speak with genuinely commercial Data Scientists who have built and deployed models that drive measurable business impact.

This is not a “research-only” role or a pure POC environment — they need someone who has delivered production-grade ML solutions at scale.

Key experience we’re looking for:
✅ Churn prediction modelling
✅ Customer segmentation
✅ Next Best Action / recommendation systems
✅ Time series forecasting
✅ Strong Python experience
✅ Databricks exposure
✅ Production ML / MLOps environments

Tech stack includes:
Python
SQL
☁️ Databricks
MLflow / CI-CD / modern ML pipelines
Central Manchester (Hybrid)
Contract role
Day rate DOE

Ideal background would be someone who enjoys solving real commercial problems with data and can bridge the gap between technical delivery and business impact.
