A senior leadership opportunity with a well-known consumer-facing business that's making serious investment in its data and AI capability. We're looking for a Head of Data and AI to lead the function through a pivotal 12 months on a fixed-term contract basis.
This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role, you'll own the data and AI vision, lead a multidisciplinary team across data science, analytics, and engineering, and act as the senior voice for data at the executive level.

- Setting and executing the data and AI strategy in line with the business's commercial priorities
- Leading and developing a team of data scientists, analysts, and engineers
- Partnering with C-suite and senior leadership to embed data-driven decision-making across the organisation
- Championing the responsible, commercial application of AI, bridging high-level strategy and technical execution
- Owning the function's roadmap, budget, and external partnerships
- Proven track record leading data and AI functions in a large, complex business
- Strong technical foundation, credible with engineers and scientists, not just executives
- Experience scaling data teams and maturing data culture in a commercial environment
- Excellent stakeholder management at board level
- The judgement to balance long-term capability-building with short-term commercial delivery
