Our client, a well-known international consumer brand, is part-way through a major data modernisation programme, replatforming its data and reporting estate onto Snowflake, dbt, Fivetran and Azure, and retiring legacy SQL Server warehouses.

The opportunity
Our client, a well-known international consumer brand, is part-way through a major data modernisation programme, replatforming its data and reporting estate onto Snowflake, dbt, Fivetran and Azure, and retiring legacy SQL Server warehouses.
What you'll be doing
- Building and maintaining ingestion pipelines (Fivetran) and transformations (dbt) on Snowflake.
- Developing and operating data integrations across Azure data services.
- Supporting the migration and decommissioning of legacy warehouses – reconciliation and cutover.
- Writing tests, embedded into CI/CD.
- Owning data quality, observability, performance and cost.
Essential
- 3 years' commercial data engineering experience on a modern data stack.
- Strong SQL and hands-on experience with a modern cloud data warehouse (Snowflake preferred).
- Hands-on dbt experience.
- Experience with an ELT tool such as Fivetran.
- Working knowledge of Azure data services.
- Right to work in the UK without sponsorship.
- Hybrid working from Manchester.
