Senior Systems Engineer - Automation

We're looking for an experienced Senior Systems Engineer to join a major nuclear infrastructure project, delivering high-integrity Rockwell PLC control systems in a highly regulated environment.

The Role

You'll lead the technical delivery of PLC solutions, designing, developing and testing systems using Rockwell ControlLogix and Studio 5000 Logix Designer. You'll also produce engineering documentation, support FAT/CAT testing, and work closely with the wider engineering team to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Requirements

• 5+ years' experience in industrial automation and control systems
• Strong experience with: Rockwell ControlLogix PLCs, Studio 5000 Logix Designer
• Proven PLC design, implementation and testing experience
• Experience producing engineering documentation in regulated environments
• Strong technical documentation and problem-solving skills

Desirable

• Nuclear, defence or other highly regulated industry experience
• Experience integrating third-party control systems
• Knowledge of industrial networking and cybersecurity principles
• HNC/HND or Degree in Electrical, Electronic or Control Engineering (or equivalent experience)
