Mechanical Design Engineer

This global automotive supplier is seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer with a strong engineering background and ability to effectively communicate with customers.

The successful Mechanical Design Engineer candidate will play a key role developing, and designing – robot grippers, CNC fixtures, and equipment for the manufacturing automotive components. The position will involve supporting the full design process and requires strong problem-solving skills, an up-to-date knowledge of CAD technologies, and a strategic mindset.

This is a wonderful opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to work with a premier global company with the opportunity to travel within the role.

Mechanical Design Engineer requirements

• Degree or HND/C in Mechanical Engineering
• 3D CAD – SolidWorks & CATIA (or similar)
• GD&T
• FEA experience
• Automotive industry experience (highly desirable)
