Senior SerDes Validation Engineer
An innovative technology company operating within the satellite communications sector is looking to add a Senior SerDes Validation Engineer to its growing engineering team. Chroma are supporting the search to help meet increasing demand across advanced semiconductor and high-speed communications products.
This Senior SerDes Validation Engineer role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge chipset technology, validating high-speed PHYs and communication links used in next-generation satellite and telecommunications systems. You will play a key role in lab bring-up, automated testing, performance validation and root cause analysis, working closely with development teams throughout the product lifecycle.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in high-speed digital validation, SerDes technologies and automated test development.
Senior SerDes Validation Engineer Requirements:
- 5+ years' experience in chip, system or high-speed interface validation
- Strong knowledge of SerDes technologies and high-speed link testing
- Hands-on experience with lab equipment such as Oscilloscopes, BERTs and network analysers
- Proficiency in Python and/or C/C++ for test automation
- Experience investigating and debugging complex hardware issues
- Degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related discipline
