Electrical Design Engineer

A Cheshire based leading manufacturer of Process Equipment are looking fora skilled Electrical Design Engineer to join their growing team. This company specialise in bespoke equipment, sold worldwide to highly niche sectors.  

As an Electrical Design Engineer, you’ll head up the Electrical function, delivering designs for bespoke & complex one-off systems for the Pharma, Petrochem, Food & Beverages and Water industries – This will include Control Panel design, Skid Package creation, BOM’s, Component Selection and overseeing your work through to manufacture and testing.

This company are a well-established and stable business, with over 3 decades supplying to major Engineering, Utilities and Production leaders. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Electrical Designer to make a position their own.

Electrical Design Engineer requirements:

• Qualifications in Electrical Engineering (or similar)
• CAD – Solidworks Electrical (will consider all others)
• Control Panel Design
• Experience with Machinery Manufacturing / Automation
• Control Panel Design
• Electrical standards - BS EN 60204, IEC standards
• Knowledge of PLCs (desirable but not essential)
