Lead Mechanical Design Engineer

This market leading company who design & manufacture specialist products for Energy sector are looking for a Lead Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team!

The successful Lead Mechanical Design Engineer will have a proven track record delivering high-quality engineering solutions along with strong leadership and coaching skills. Key duties include full lifecycle design, leading design reviews, checking drawings, resource allocation, verification & validation, and project management.

As a Lead engineer, you will also become a subject matter expert for your product group and will get to shape and influence the future of your business unit as the company continues to grow and expand!

Lead Mechanical Design Engineer requirements:

• Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
• Proven track record as a Senior/Lead Design Engineer
• Strong knowledge of 1^st principles / calculations
• Team leadership experience
• Energy/Renewables (highly desirable)
