Commercial Manager
Our client is a leading engineering and industrial services provider, delivering engineering, maintenance and project solutions across sectors including energy, pharmaceuticals, chemicals and oil & gas. They are currently looking for an experienced Commercial Manager to join their team in Hull, taking responsibility for the commercial and financial management of projects.
The Commercial Manager role will involve managing the commercial and cost performance of projects from inception through to completion, ensuring strong financial performance and effective contract controls. You will work closely with Project Management, Technical and Project Controls teams, providing commercial insight and supporting the successful delivery of projects.
Commercial Manager Requirements
- Proven experience working in a Commercial Manager or similar commercial/financial role, ideally within an engineering, industrial or project-based environment.
- Strong commercial awareness with experience in cost control, forecasting, contract management and financial reporting.
- Finance degree, recognised accounting qualification, or equivalent relevant commercial/financial experience.
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced project environment and managing multiple priorities.
- Previous experience using SAP would be highly beneficial.
