Cost Engineer

Our client is a leading international engineering and industrial services provider, and they are currently looking for an experienced Cost Engineer to join their team. The company delivers complex engineering, maintenance and project solutions across sectors including energy, chemicals, pharmaceuticals and oil & gas, with a strong focus on sustainability, innovation and the delivery of major projects across the UK.

As a Cost Engineer, you will play a key role in the financial and commercial management of major projects, working closely with project, commercial and subcontractor teams to monitor costs, manage forecasts and ensure projects remain commercially controlled from start to completion.

Cost Engineer Key Requirements

• Cost Engineering experience within engineering or construction.
• Experience with NEC4 Option B contracts.
• Knowledge of NAECI and SMM.
• Experience on major construction projects.
• Strong contractor-side commercial background.
• Good knowledge of cost control and forecasting.
• SAP and Power BI experience is advantageous.
