Senior Firmware Engineer
An innovative company is excited to announce a new opportunity to join their growing R&D team. Chroma are searching for a Senior Firmware Engineer to support the continued development of their CAN-based power management and vehicle control platforms.
The ideal candidate will be a hands-on firmware engineer with strong CAN expertise. Candidates with strong hardware and firmware experience can be considered if no CAN experience.
Lead Firmware Engineer Requirements:
- 8+ years’ commercial embedded firmware development
- Strong C/C++ experience on 32-bit microcontrollers
- RTOS, interrupts, low-level drivers and communications protocols
- SPI, I2C, UART and LIN
- Ability to read schematics and work closely with hardware engineers
- Experience mentoring or technically guiding other engineers
As a Senior Firmware Engineer, you’ll be responsible for the architecture, design and delivery of embedded firmware for CAN-based power distribution and control units. You’ll also help define coding standards, review processes and test strategies, whilst mentoring other members of the firmware team.
