Systems Engineer (space & optics)
Due to exceptional growth, this global engineering business is looking for a Systems Engineer (Space & Optics) to join their team to help with expanding business and opportunities.
The Systems Engineer (Space & Optics) will work on the design, integration and test of sensor and communication payload products for LEO, GEO and Lunar satellite systems.
The Systems Engineer will act as a technical interface to customers and subcontractors, taking ownership of engineering requirements, system architecture, budgets and verification activities throughout the design, integration and test lifecycle.
Systems Engineer (Space & Optics) requirements:
- Degree qualified in a relevant subject (e.g. Space Systems Engineering, Electronics, Communications)
- 5+ years’ experience in the design, manufacture and test of complex technological systems
- Experience working with and developing systems designed for space environments
- Experience with system interface definition and performance analysis
- Experience planning and developing test specifications, procedures and qualification/acceptance test campaigns
- Experience providing technical oversight across different engineering disciplines during design, integration and test
