Test Engineer (Science and engineering)
A great opportunity is available at an electro-mechanical company in Stockport! Chroma are searching for a Test Engineer to join their growing technical team.
They can consider a graduate from a Physics/Chemistry/Science degree with no experience or someone that has worked as a lab technician.
This role will involve different types of testing on sensors, following test plans and documenting test results.
The Test Engineer will work closely with Development, Quality, Production Engineering and Operations teams, supporting testing across the full product lifecycle and contributing to requirements including ATEX, IECEx and UL certification.
Test Engineer requirements:
- Scientific degree/background desirable
- Experience in a test, verification, validation or product engineering environment
- Experience creating and executing structured test plans and procedures
- Knowledge of product verification and validation
- Experience testing products against defined technical requirements
- Ability to produce clear and traceable test reports and technical documentation
- Familiarity with test equipment, calibration and test methods
