Senior Pressure Vessel Design Engineer

Chroma have partnered with a globally recognised and industry leading manufacturer in their search for a Senior Pressure Vessel Design Engineer. This company are specialists in the Renewables & Energy sector and have international outreach with their products, equipment and services.

As a Senior Pressure Vessel Design Engineer, you’ll report directly to the Engineering Manager and take lead on the design of industrial Pressure Vessels & Heat Exchangers. You’ll oversee turnkey projects and designs used in the Energy & Renewables sector (Hydrogen, Waste, Carbon Capture etc.) This will include design calculations for adhering to EN 13445, ASME, AD 2000 & PD5500 standards.

You’ll work in a highly-skilled and experienced Engineering team consisting of Mechanical, Thermal, Structural and CAD Engineers, whilst joining a stable and growing business which offers flexibility and an excellent package.

Pressure Vessel Design Engineer requirements:

• Degree Qualified in Mechanical Engineering / or HND (Time served)
• Pressure Vessel/Systems design experience (essential)
• Experience using – PV Elite, COMPRESS, AutoPIPE, Finglow
• Expert knowledge of pressure codes and certification - ASME, PED, PD5500, EN13445 etc.
• Understanding of P&IDs & Manufacturing Techniques
