Project Manager

Yorkshire / Hybrid / UK-wide Site Travel
Initial 8-month contract | Potential extension to 12 months

Chroma Recruitment is looking for a Project Manager to lead a phased decommissioning programme across UK-wide sites for an established energy business.

You’ll shape the project from the outset, developing the delivery plan before managing specialist contractors through equipment removal and site reinstatement. You’ll have support from a Project Engineer and established H&S, Supply Chain and QS teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop project plans, programmes and scopes of work.
• Source and manage specialist contractors.
• Coordinate equipment removal, lifting and civil works.
• Manage costs, risks and financial reporting.
• Oversee site reinstatement and handover.

Experience Required:

• Project management within engineering, energy, construction or industrial projects.
• A flexible, practical approach and strong contractor management skills.
• Confident computer skills and the ability to produce clear documentation and reports.

Previous decommissioning experience is not essential. Electrical authorisation is not required.

Typically three days across the Yorkshire office and UK project sites, with two days from home, adapting to project requirements. Your own vehicle and flexibility for travel and occasional overnight stays are required.
