Mechanical Design Engineer

A global leading manufacturer of Special Purpose Machinery based in Accrington are looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join their growing engineering team.

As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you’ll join a highly skilled and experienced Design team, and focus on the design of Special Purpose Equipment and Complex Systems with leading technology. This will include engineering calculations, detailed 3D design using Solidworks, working with precision parts, fabrications and sheet metal.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Mechanical Design Engineer who wants to work within a growing department where in return the company will support career development.

Mechanical Design Engineer Requirements:

• Degree/HNC level in Mechanical Engineering
• Experience in Special Purpose Machinery design (highly desirable)
• CAD – Solidworks & 2D Draughting
• Strong understanding of Sheet Metal, Fabrications, Machined Parts
